Biblical teaching on sexual purity, God's design for intimacy, and living with integrity
The Bible clearly teaches that sexual intimacy is designed by God for marriage between husband and wife. Hebrews 13:4 states "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous." The Greek word "porneia" (sexual immorality) includes all sexual activity outside marriage and is consistently condemned throughout Scripture.
