Biblical teaching on hell, eternal separation from God, and the importance of salvation
The Bible describes hell as a place of eternal separation from God prepared for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41). Jesus spoke more about hell than anyone else in Scripture, describing it as a place where "the fire never goes out" (Mark 9:43) and "outer darkness" with "weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Matthew 22:13). Hell is the consequence of rejecting God's salvation through Christ.
Jesus spoke directly about hell more than any other biblical figure.
