The Sovereignty of God and the Problem of Evil

The question of why God allowed you to break your foot or lose a limb is a complex and difficult one. As an evangelical Christian, I must acknowledge that the Bible teaches us about the sovereignty of God over all creation. This teaching is not meant to be taken literally, but rather as a metaphor for the importance of spiritual purity and the need to prioritize our relationship with God above all else. In your case, the loss of your limb may have been a painful and difficult experience, but it may also have been an opportunity for you to reflect on your priorities and to seek a deeper relationship with God. Ultimately, the sovereignty of God is a mystery that we can only begin to understand as we seek to follow Him and to trust in His goodness and love.
