The Blessing of Wine in Scripture

In the Bible, wine is depicted as a blessing from God. In the New Testament, Jesus blesses the cup of wine before drinking it, reminding his disciples that God is the creator of the fruit of the vine (Mark 8:22-15:47). Similarly, in the Old Testament, the blessing of wine is acknowledged in various passages, including the blessing mentioned in M.
