Should Christians drink alcohol?

The Bible does not explicitly forbid drinking alcoholic beverages, but it does warn of the dangers of excessive drinking. In Romans 14:13-16, Paul says that Christians should not judge each other for eating or drinking, but rather should not cause others to stumble. In 1 Corinthians 8:1-13, Paul explains that knowledge about food and drink should not be used to judge others. In 1 Corinthians 10:23-33, Paul warns that even if something is not wrong in itself, it can still be used in a way that is harmful to others.
