Avoiding Hell: A Biblical Perspective

The Bible warns that those who reject Jesus Christ will go to hell, a place of conscious separation from God and spiritual torment (Luke 16:19-31). However, for those who have trusted in Jesus, the Bible offers a message of hope and freedom. According to the Bible, a true act of contrition and repentance can give us a "ticket out of hell" (Matthew 4:17). But, it's essential to note that a motivation to repent solely to avoid punishment is not sufficient. True repentance involves a genuine change of heart and a desire to follow God's ways.
