The Biblical Perspective on Sex Before Marriage

The Bible clearly teaches that sex before marriage is not permissible. The foundational principle of the biblical sex ethic is that sex is only intended for married couples. This principle is rooted in God's creation of marriage in Genesis 2:24, where a man and a woman become one flesh. The Importance of Marriage Covenant

The Bible emphasizes that a marriage covenant is necessary for sex. This covenant creates a place of security for vulnerability and intimacy.
