The Biblical Perspective on Sex Before Marriage

The Bible clearly teaches that sex before marriage is not permissible. In the book of Genesis, God establishes the institution of marriage and describes the intimate relationship between a husband and wife as "one flesh" (Genesis 2:24). This union is meant to be exclusive and lifelong, and sex is reserved for this context.
