What will we do in heaven?

Heaven will be a place of eternal worship and service to God. As stated in Psalm 89:5, we will observe the wonders of creation, including the sun, moon, and stars. However, we will not be led astray by these wonders, but instead, we will worship and serve the one who created them, God. This is in contrast to the people of the earth who will be led astray by these same wonders and will serve them instead of God.

In heaven, we will also be engaged in worship and service to God. Jesus taught us to pray, "Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:9-10). This prayer gives us a glimpse into what life in heaven will be like. We will be in a state of constant worship and service to God, doing His will and bringing glory to His name. We will be free from sin and its effects, and we will be able to live in perfect harmony with God and with each other.

Heaven will also be a place of rest and freedom from suffering. As stated in Revelation 21:4, "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." We will be free from the effects of sin and its consequences, and we will be able to live in perfect peace and harmony with God and with each other. We will be able to rest in the presence of God, free from the burdens and struggles of this life. We will be able to live in a state of perfect joy and happiness, forever with God.
