Can our words bring new life? The Bible says yes, our words can bring new life. In 1 Peter 4:11, it says, "If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God." This means that our words should be inspired by God and reflect His truth. Jesus said in John 6:63, "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and are life." This shows that God's words have the power to bring new life. When we speak God's words, we are speaking life into people's lives.

The Bible also teaches that our words can create a new reality. In Colossians 3:10, it says, "And have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator." This means that as we put on the new self, we are becoming a new creation, and our words should reflect that. We should speak words that bring life and encouragement, rather than words that tear down and criticize. In Ephesians 4:29, it says, "Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers." This shows that our words have the power to either bring life or death, and we should choose to speak words that bring life.

As we speak God's words, we are participating in the new creation. We are becoming a new people, and our words should reflect that. In 2 Corinthians 5:17, it says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new." This means that as we are in Christ, we are a new creation, and our words should reflect that. We should speak words that bring life and encouragement, rather than words that tear down and criticize. By speaking God's words, we are participating in the new creation and bringing new life to those around us. As the Bible says, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord" (Colossians 3:16). This shows that our words should be filled with the word of Christ and should bring life and encouragement to those around us. By speaking God's words, we are bringing new life to those around us and participating in the new creation.
