Understanding God's Sovereignty

To truly trust in God's sovereignty, one must acknowledge His power and authority over all creation. This involves recognizing that God is the Governor of all things, working in harmony with His other attributes, especially justice. His sovereignty is not exercised in an arbitrary way, but rather, it is a sovereignty exercised in harmony with His other attributes. Trusting God means acknowledging His omnipotence and recognizing that He is the only one in whom we should place our trust.

The Paradox of Trusting God

Trusting God is a qualitatively different act from obeying and trusting a fellow human being. The God-human relationship is inassimilable to a human-human relationship.
