The Bible teaches that using our skills and talents for personal gain is not necessarily wrong, but it can become wrong if it is done at the expense of others or if it is done in a way that is deceitful or exploitative. (1 Corinthians 10:31) We should always strive to use our skills and talents in a way that is consistent with the teachings of Jesus and that brings glory to God. (Colossians 3:17)
