Living a life that is centered around Jesus means being willing to make sacrifices in order to follow Him. This means being willing to let go of things that are not essential to our well-being and focusing on what is truly important. As the Bible says, "If I were rich, I would give to those in need, but I am poor, so I give all that I have." (Luke 21:2-4) This mindset is essential for living a life that is centered around Jesus.

When we say that we can't afford to live a certain way, what we are really saying is that we can't afford to make the necessary sacrifices in order to follow Jesus. We are saying that our own desires and wants are more important than our relationship with God. This is a false priority. As the Bible says, "You cannot serve both God and money." (Matthew 6:24) We must choose which one we will prioritize. If we choose to prioritize our relationship with God, then we must be willing to let go of things that are not essential to our well-being.

The Bible teaches us that true wealth is not measured by our bank account, but by our relationship with God. As Jesus said, "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven." (Matthew 6:19-20) This means that we must be willing to live a simple life, free from the love of money and material possessions. We must be willing to trust God to provide for our needs, even if it means sacrificing some of our comforts and desires. As the Bible says, "God will never leave you or forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5) This means that we can trust God to provide for us, even in times of uncertainty and hardship. By living a life that is centered around Jesus, we can experience true freedom and joy, even in the midst of financial struggles.
