Biblical Answer

Escape from the darkness is possible, but it requires faith and trust in God. The Bible teaches that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). Jesus is the light of the world, and those who follow Him will not walk in darkness (John 8:12). The darkness that we experience in life is not from God, but from the evil one (1 John 2:13-14). As believers, we are not in darkness, that the day would overtake us like a thief (1 Thessalonians 5:4-5). We are sons of light and sons of day, and we have the light of Christ in us.

The darkness that we experience is a result of sin and rebellion against God. When we sin, we walk in darkness and do not know where we are going (Matthew 12:35-36). But when we have the light of Christ, we can walk in the light and have fellowship with one another (1 John 1:7). The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin, and we are made new in Him (1 John 1:7). As we walk in the light, we are not like the world, which is in darkness (1 John 2:15-17). We are to put off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light (Romans 13:12).

To escape the darkness, we must trust in Jesus and His light. We must listen to God's voice and wait for His guidance, even in times of uncertainty (Psalm 139:7-12). We must not seek guidance from other sources, such as the occult or worldly wisdom, but rather seek God's light and guidance (Psalm 119:105). As we trust in Jesus and His light, we will experience the power of God's light in our lives, and we will be able to overcome the darkness. We will be able to walk in the light and have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus will cleanse us from all sin. We will be able to escape the darkness and live in the light of Christ.
