Is God still with me?

Are you severely troubled right now? Are you afraid and confused by the waves and the turbulence God sovereignly allows to enter your life? Have you left no stone of your faith unturned, yet still not found any well of peace, joy, or comfort? If you are, it is essential to understand that God is still with you, even in the midst of your struggles.

Deuteronomy 31:6 says, "The Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." This promise is not limited to a specific circumstance or time period. It is a constant reminder that God is always with you, regardless of what you are going through. Isaiah 41:10 says, "Fear not, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God." God is not distant or detached; He is actively involved in your life, even when you don't feel His presence.

When you feel abandoned or forsaken, it's essential to remember that God's presence is not always felt in the same way. His sovereignty and power are not limited by your emotions or circumstances. He is always with you, working out His plan and purpose in your life. As the Psalmist says, "See now that I myself am He! There is no god besides me. I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal, and no one can deliver from my hand." (Psalm 86:8-10) God's presence is not something you feel; it's something you can trust in, even when you don't feel it. He is always with you, working out His plan and purpose in your life. In other words, God is not absent from your life, even when you feel like He is. He is always with you, working out His plan and purpose in your life.
