The Absurdity of Life: A Biblical Perspective

The absurdity of life is a reality that many of us face. Camus, an atheist, described it as "the feeling that life is meaningless and hopeless." (Eccles. 1:23) This feeling can be overwhelming, leaving us with a profound sense of despair. However, the Bible offers a different perspective on the meaninglessness of life. According to the Bible, life is meaningless without God. (Eccles. 1:2) In fact, the Bible teaches that everything is meaningless apart from faith in God. (Eccles. 1:2)

The Bible teaches that the meaning of life is not found in the things we do or the activities we fill our lives with, but in our relationship with God.
