Your Question:

How do i make ends meet?

Answer:

Making ends meet can be a challenge, especially with a family to provide for. As a pastor, I've seen many people struggle with financial stability. For me, it's about being responsible and wise with our resources. My wife Susan and I have been married for 19 years, and we've learned to live within our means. We prioritize our spending, making sure to save for the future and give generously to our church and community.

As a family, we have to be mindful of our expenses, especially with two teenagers at home. Our son Joshua is 17 and our daughter Rebecca is 14, and they both have their own interests and hobbies that require some financial support. But we've learned to balance our spending with our values and goals. We're not perfect, but we're committed to living a simple and frugal lifestyle that allows us to give back to others and pursue our passions.

For me, making ends meet is also about finding ways to earn extra income. I've been able to supplement our family's income through my work as a pastor, as well as through some freelance writing and speaking engagements. It's not always easy, but it's worth it to be able to provide for my family and pursue my passions, like playing chess and reading science fiction novels. And of course, I love cheering on the Chicago Cubs whenever I can!
