However, deciding when feelings have reached the right level can be difficult, and any uncertainty can be intense because so much depends on guessing correctly. This is because love is not just a feeling, but a choice to act in accordance with God's love, even when it is difficult or uncertain.

In the face of uncertainty, love can overcome the false polarization between objective and subjective, and between the Idealist and the Empiricist. Love insists that there was never really a gap between the two, and it jumps the gap by choosing to act in accordance with God's love, even when it is difficult or uncertain.
