As a husband and a father, I've often struggled with the idea of loving my family when I'm not physically present. When we choose to act in loving ways, even when we don't feel like it, our emotions will eventually catch up with our behavior. I've seen this play out in my own life as I've made a conscious effort to love my family, even when I didn't feel like it. As a pastor, I've also seen this principle play out in the lives of others.
