Does God still love me when I feel hopeless?

Understanding God's Love

God's love is unconditional and relentless in its determination that we shall be cured of hopelessness and sin. His love for us does not wane, even when we feel hopeless. We can be assured that God's love attends every moment of our lives, even the toughest, loneliest, and most painful moments. He is always there, working things out for good when we pray and look to Him to do so. We must not be fooled by feelings of hopelessness, as they can lie and deceive us. Instead, we must seek God and His love, and He will provide the means for us to overcome our struggles.

The Reality of Hopelessness

Hopelessness can be a heavy burden to bear, making us feel like God has abandoned us. However, this is not the truth. God's love is not conditional upon our circumstances or feelings. He loves us unconditionally, even when we feel hopeless. We must not seek happiness in worldly things, but rather seek after God, who is the source of true fulfillment and satisfaction. Suffering can be a means of developing character and leaning on God, and it is in these moments that we can experience God's love and presence in a deeper way.

Abandoning Ourselves to God

When we feel hopeless, we must abandon ourselves to God and surrender everything to Him. This is the only way to experience true freedom and healing. We must be determined to recklessly abandon ourselves to God, even in the face of overwhelming circumstances. It is in this surrender that we can find peace, hope, and restoration. God's love is not something we can manufacture or control, but rather it is something that He freely offers to us. We must receive it with an open heart and mind, and trust that He will work things out for our good.
