Why Does God Allow This to Happen to Me and Not Someone Else?

When we experience hardship, it can be difficult to understand why God allows it to happen to us and not someone else. The Bible teaches that God grants us autonomy, allowing us to accept or reject Him. This autonomy can lead to a desire to sin, which can bring about negative consequences. We must recognize that we are not victims of circumstance, but rather, we have a choice in how we respond to God's love and the situations we face. We can choose to deny ourselves, lose ourselves, and find ourselves in Christ.

It's also possible that we may feel like God owes us something, but as Christians, we should recognize that we owe God everything.
