Jesus defeated death by taking on flesh and blood, and by undergoing death itself. Through His death, Jesus rendered powerless the devil, who had the power of death. This is evident in Hebrews 2:14, which states that Jesus took on flesh and blood, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil. In other words, Jesus conquered death by dying.

The death of Jesus was not a defeat, but a victory. By His death, Jesus dealt with the problem of human sins and removed the grounds of accusation. This broke the power of the prince of this world, and he was driven out. Additionally, Jesus' death resulted in the removal of the sting of death, and the power of sin was broken. Jesus' resurrection from the dead is the ultimate proof of His victory over death.

Jesus' death was a normal death, but it was followed by a miraculous resurrection. Jesus' body was placed in a sealed tomb, but He rose from the dead on the third day. This event was witnessed by many people, including the disciples and the centurion who guarded the tomb. The resurrection of Jesus is the foundation of the Christian faith, and it is the proof that Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior of humanity. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus defeated death and conquered sin, and He offers salvation to all people who put their faith in Him.
