The Problem of Selfishness

It is a tendency towards self-will that leads to moral selfishness, which is a major obstacle to living a life that reflects Christian values and teachings. The concept of selfishness is often misunderstood, and it can be difficult to distinguish between selfishness and selflessness. Some argue that selfishness is the essence of original sin, which has infiltrated the human family. The Difficulty of Overcoming Selfishness

Overcoming selfishness is a difficult task, as it requires a willingness to put the needs of others before our own.
