My friend, I can see that you're going through a tough time, losing your business and struggling to find a new job that aligns with your abilities. But let me tell you, this is not the end of your story. As a pastor, I've seen many people face similar challenges, and I've learned that it's not about the job itself, but about finding purpose and meaning in our lives.
You see, our worth and identity come from who we are in Christ, not from our profession or accomplishments. When we lose our job, it's not a reflection of our worth, but an opportunity to re-evaluate our priorities and find a new path. As the apostle Paul said, "If you are spiritually dead, without resurrection life, under sin, under guilt, empty, Christ invites you to come to him." So, let's not get stuck in the past or focus on what's lacking in our lives. Instead, let's look to the future and ask God to show us a new way forward.
As I always say to my congregation, "Today is the most important day in your life." It's a new opportunity to make a change, to pursue your dreams, and to serve the Lord with a grateful heart. Don't get me wrong, it's okay to grieve the loss of your business, but don't let it define you. You are more than your profession, and you have so much to offer the world. So, let's rise up, my friend, and face the future with faith and hope. We can do this, together, with God's guidance and support.
