What if I'm not sure I believe everything Christians teach?

As a Christian, I would encourage you to explore the teachings of Jesus and the Bible with an open mind and heart. Recognizing the truth of Jesus' teaching is not dependent upon intellectual ability or rational argument, but rather on a personal experience of His life-changing power. The Bible teaches that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). So, take the time to read and study the Bible, and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in your understanding.

However, it's also important to acknowledge that you may have doubts or questions about certain teachings. This is a normal part of the journey of faith. The Bible encourages us to "test everything" and "hold fast to what is good" (1 Thessalonians 5:21). Don't be afraid to ask questions and seek answers from trusted Christian leaders or resources. Remember that faith is not about having all the answers, but about trusting in a loving and sovereign God who is working everything out for our good (Romans 8:28).

Ultimately, the decision to believe in Jesus and His teachings is a personal one. It requires a willingness to surrender your life to Him and trust in His goodness and love. As the Bible says, "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on them" (John 3:36).
