Can I still have a sense of identity without my business?

In a world where identity is often tied to our profession, our work, or our business, it can be daunting to think about what our identity is without it. However, as Christians, we are called to find our identity in our relationship with God, not in our profession or business. This means that our sense of identity is not dependent on our external circumstances, but rather on our internal relationship with God. We can find our identity in who we are in Christ, and not in what we do.

As Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" This verse reminds us that our identity is not defined by our external circumstances, but rather by our relationship with Christ. When we are in Christ, we become a new creation, and our identity is transformed. We are no longer defined by our profession or business, but by our relationship with God. This means that even if our business or profession changes, our identity remains the same.

In this sense, our identity is not something that we find or create for ourselves, but rather something that we discover in our relationship with God. We are not defined by our external circumstances, but by our internal relationship with Christ.
