You can think your way into changing your life for good. This is the key to overcoming the obstacles that seem formidable and that it appears you'll never win over in this life. The enemy may try to outfight you, but you have the power of the finished work of Jesus on your side. The enemy may try to outwait you, but you have the power of perseverance, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus, to endure hardship.

The reason the battle is lost is that we often fight it first in the external world, rather than in the presence of God. We need to get alone with God, do battle before Him, and settle the matter once and for all. This is where the power of the Holy Spirit comes in, to give us the courage and strength to fight the good fight of faith. We must be willing to step up and say, "There's a fight to be fought, and I'm going to fight the battle to win my mind because I have the power of the finished work of Jesus." This is the mindset we need to adopt in order to overcome the obstacles that seem insurmountable.

So, what's the point of fighting when it feels like the odds are against you? The point is that you have the power of the finished work of Jesus on your side. You have the power of the Holy Spirit to give you courage and strength. You have the power of perseverance to endure hardship. And you have the power to think your way into changing your life for good.
