When everything seems hopeless, the point of having faith is that it gives us a reason to keep moving forward, even when the odds are against us. Faith is not about ignoring the difficulties or challenges we face, but about trusting in a power greater than ourselves. It's about believing that God is working everything out for our good, even when we can't see it (Romans 8:28). As the apostle Paul writes, "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed" (2 Corinthians 4:8-9).
