Your Question:

How do we keep hope alive when life gets busy?

Answer:

As a pastor, I've seen many people struggle with hope when life gets busy. It's easy to get caught up in the daily grind and lose sight of our long-term goals and dreams. But I believe that hope is essential to living a fulfilling life. As the Bible says, "Hope deferred makes the heart sick" (Proverbs 13:12). When we lose hope, it can lead to disappointment, despair, and even destruction.

But I also believe that hope is not just a feeling, it's a choice. We can choose to focus on the present moment and the things that bring us joy, rather than getting caught up in worries about the future. As Stephen Covey said, "We achieve inner peace when our schedule aligns with our values." When our schedules are aligned with our values, we're more likely to feel a sense of purpose and direction, which can give us hope for the future.

For me, hope is closely tied to my faith in God. I believe that God is in control and that He has a plan for my life, even when things don't make sense. This gives me hope for the future, even in difficult times. As I look back on my life, I can see how God has been at work, even when I didn't realize it at the time. And I know that He will continue to work in my life, giving me hope for the future.
