The Paradox of Trusting God

Trusting God is a paradoxical concept. On one hand, when we trust Him, we are saying that we need Him. Our search for self-satisfaction has been a failure, and we now turn to the One who has been our true destination all along. This means that trusting God is not about being entitled to His help, but rather about recognizing our need for Him. On the other hand, trusting God is not about doing nothing, but rather about taking action to follow His commands. When we trust Him, we are not exempt from trying our best to obey Him.

The Importance of Earned Trust

Trust is earned, not entitled. This is especially true in relationships, including our relationship with God. When we trust God, it is not because we have a right to do so, but because we have seen evidence of His character and have chosen to place our faith in Him. This earned trust is not based on probability or likelihood, but on a deep-seated confidence in God's character. Trusting God in Times of Uncertainty
