The Tension Between Peace and Justice

The concept of peace and justice is deeply intertwined, yet often seems to be in conflict. On one hand, peace is often associated with a sense of well-being and harmony, while justice is concerned with righting wrongs and promoting fairness. In the Bible, peace is often seen as a gift from God, a result of our relationship with Him (Romans 5:1). However, true peace can only be achieved when we acknowledge and address the injustices of the world. As Jesus said, "Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 5:10).
