The Nightmare of Fear and Doubt

The question of why one cannot simply wake up from a nightmare and have it all go away is a poignant one, especially when it relates to the fears and doubts that plague our lives. In the biblical account, we see a similar phenomenon where the dreams of King Nebuchadnezzar are described as a manifestation of the dark forces that seek to consume and destroy. Similarly, the nightmares of the believer can be a reflection of the spiritual battle that rages within us.
