Understanding God's Sovereignty in Pain

When considering why God allows chronic pain to control your life, it's essential to understand God's sovereignty and His desire to prevent physical pain. God desires that there should be no physical pain in His creation, and He takes no delight in physical distress. However, in particular instances, He decides not to realize this desire by a special act of His own. This means that God's sovereignty is not limited to preventing pain but also includes allowing it to occur in certain situations. The Purpose of Pain
