Your Question:
Why can't I have a normal life?
Answer:
I think I understand why you might feel like you can't have a normal life. It's because you're trying to live life on your own terms, without surrendering to God's will. You're not letting Jesus Christ make you holy, and you're not placing yourself in the proper position where God's almighty power can flow through you. This is a problem because your life is the by-product of your lifestyle, and if your lifestyle is not surrendered to God, then you can't expect to live a holy life. The thing is, God isn't concerned with making you blessed and happy right now. He's working out His ultimate perfection for you, and that's what's most important. But if you're not surrendered to Him, then you're not going to experience that ultimate perfection. You're going to be stuck in a cycle of emptiness and unfulfillment, like the feeling of waking up on a Saturday morning with a mild hangover, a bit lonely, empty, and unfulfilled. So, I want to encourage you to take a step back and examine your life. Are you surrendered to God? Are you letting Him guide you and direct you? Or are you trying to live life on your own terms? If it's the latter, then I think you'll find that you're not experiencing the life you want. But if you're willing to surrender to God and let Him work through you, then I think you'll find that He'll give you your life as a prize, and you'll be the most surprised and delighted person on earth.
