**Prioritizing Love in Our Daily Routines**
As Christians, we are called to prioritize love in our daily routines, especially in our relationships with our spouses. When life gets busy, it's easy to let love take a backseat, but we must make a conscious effort to prioritize it. This means rearranging our schedules, budgets, and relationships to make time for love. We must recognize that love is not just a feeling, but a choice we make every day. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, the Bible teaches us that love is patient, kind, and not self-seeking. It does not envy or boast, it is not proud or rude. Love is not easily angered and keeps no record of wrongs.
To prioritize love in our daily routines, we must first recognize the importance of intimacy in our marriages. Intimacy is not just about sex, but about creating a safe and loving environment where we can connect with our spouses. This requires us to make time for regular date nights, conversations, and activities that bring us joy. We must also be intentional about showing affection and love to our spouses, even in small ways, such as holding hands, giving hugs, and surprise gifts. By prioritizing love, we can create a strong foundation for our marriages and build a lifelong relationship that is filled with joy, laughter, and intimacy.
In addition to prioritizing love in our daily routines, we must also prioritize Bible reading and prayer. As Christians, we are called to make time for spiritual growth and development. This means setting aside time each day to read the Bible, pray, and seek God's guidance. By doing so, we can cultivate a deeper love for God and for our spouses, and we can build a strong foundation for our relationships. By prioritizing love and spiritual growth, we can create a balanced and fulfilling life that brings joy and happiness to ourselves and to those around us.
