The Right Decision for Your Future

When it comes to making decisions about your future, it's easy to get caught up in trying to figure out what you want to do. You might feel pressure from others, or you might feel like you're making a choice between two good options. However, the Bible reminds us that God is sovereign over all of our lives, and that He has a plan for each of us. In Psalm 37:4, we're encouraged to "delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." This doesn't mean that God will give us everything we want, but rather that He will give us what is best for us.

When making decisions, it's also important to remember that God is not concerned with making us blessed and happy right now, but rather with our ultimate future completeness. He is a loving Father who wants what is best for us, even if it's not what we think is best for us at the moment. In Jeremiah 29:11, we're reminded that "I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This means that even when we're faced with difficult choices, we can trust that God has a plan for our lives and that He will guide us in the right direction.

So, what does this mean for you and your future? It means that you don't have to have all the answers right now. It means that you can trust God to guide you and give you the desires of your heart. It means that you can take a step back and ask yourself what it is that God wants you to do, rather than just trying to figure out what you want to do. And it means that you can trust that God will provide you with the resources and guidance you need to make wise decisions about your future. As Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." This is a promise that we can stand on, even when we're faced with uncertainty and doubt.
