The Complexity of Tattoos in Christianity

As a Christian, you may find yourself struggling with the decision to get a tattoo or regretting one you already have. While the Bible does not explicitly prohibit tattoos, it does provide guidance on the matter. In Leviticus 19:28, we are instructed not to "mutilate your bodies" by getting tattoos, which were associated with pagan practices in ancient Israel. Wisdom in Getting a Tattoo

In Matthew 5:29, Jesus says that it is better to lose a part of our body than to risk losing our whole soul. Regret and Forgiveness
