Prioritizing Values

When it comes to prioritizing values, it's essential to understand that values are not just personal preferences but also reflect our relationship with God. For example, if we value material possessions over relationships, we may need to reevaluate our priorities and focus on building stronger relationships with God and others.

As we prioritize our values, we should also consider the importance of teaching our children the values that are essential to living a Christian life. This involves establishing consensus values that are based on God's Word and teaching them in a way that is relevant and applicable to our children's lives. By doing so, we can help our children develop a strong moral compass that will guide them in making decisions that honor God. As Proverbs 22:6 says, "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." By prioritizing our values and teaching them to our children, we can help them develop a strong foundation for living a life that reflects God's love and redemption.
