When I put my faith in Jesus, I am not trusting in human beings, but rather in his power and character. I am trusting that he will guide me, protect me, and provide for me, even in the midst of adversity. This trust is not a feeling, but rather a choice that I make every day. As Brother Lawrence said, "We build our faith by the practice of the presence of God." When I make Jesus my Lord and Savior, I am constantly talking to him, seeking his guidance and wisdom. This helps me to develop a deeper trust in him, which in turn enables me to trust others, even when they seem to be against me. Ultimately, trusting in God is the key to trusting others and finding peace and security in the midst of adversity.
