Can I lose God's love?

No, you cannot lose God's love. God's love for us is a safe subject to focus on because it is based on His sovereignty and character. As 1 John 4:8 says, "Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love." This means that God's love for us is not based on our performance or actions, but rather on His nature as a loving God. Therefore, we can never lose His love because it is not based on our worthiness or behavior.

However, we can experience feelings of distance or separation from God, which can make us feel like we have lost His love. But these feelings are not necessarily a reflection of God's actual love for us. In fact, feelings can be deceiving and can even lie to us.
