Choosing between expensive treatment and leaving an inheritance for your family can be a difficult decision. However, as Christians, we must consider our priorities and values in light of God's Word. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus teaches us to "seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." This means that our primary focus should be on our relationship with God and living a life that honors Him. When faced with a decision like this, we should ask ourselves, "Will seeking this treatment bring me closer to God or distract me from my relationship with Him?"

As we consider our family's well-being, we must also remember that God is our Heavenly Father and He desires to care for us. In Psalm 68:5, it says, "A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy habitation." God's love and care for us are not limited to our physical needs, but also extend to our spiritual well-being. When we trust in God's sovereignty and provision, we can release our fears and worries about our family's future. As Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Ultimately, our decision should be guided by our faith in God's goodness and provision. We must trust that God will provide for our family's needs, even if it means making difficult choices. In 1 Corinthians 4:7, it says, "What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not receive it?" Our inheritance and material possessions are not ours to keep, but rather a gift from God to be used for His glory. When we prioritize our relationship with God and trust in His provision, we can make decisions that honor Him, even in the midst of uncertainty. As we seek God's guidance and wisdom, we can rest assured that He will lead us to make choices that bring glory to His name.
