The Future of Your Kids: A Biblical Perspective

As Christians, we believe that the future belongs to God, and that He has a plan for our children's lives (Jeremiah 29:11). The Bible teaches us that our children will inherit an eternal kingdom, where they will live with God forever (Revelation 21:1-5). This should give us hope and encouragement as we consider the future of our kids.

Preparing Our Children for the Future

As parents, our goal is to raise our children to be godly individuals who will make wise decisions and live out their faith in a world that often rejects it. We want to give them the tools and resources they need to succeed, not just in their careers, but in their spiritual lives as well. This means teaching them about God's Word, modeling a strong faith, and encouraging them to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19-20). By doing so, we can help them navigate the challenges of adulthood and make decisions that honor God.

Launching Our Children into the World

As our children enter adulthood, it's essential to help them transition into independent living. This means giving them the freedom to make their own decisions, while also providing guidance and support when needed. We want to raise children who are confident in their faith, self-sufficient, and equipped to make a positive impact in the world. By doing so, we can give them the gift of a strong family foundation, where they know that their parents love and support each other, and will always be there for them (Ephesians 5:25-33). This will give them a sense of security and stability, and enable them to thrive in their adult lives.
