Biblical Answer

The reason God seems so silent in our time of need is because we have a misunderstanding of God's nature and character. We think that God should be speaking to us in a loud, booming voice, answering all of our prayers and satisfying our desires. But this is not the way God works. He is a God of whispers, who speaks to us in a gentle and quiet way. He is not a God of magic, who grants our wishes and desires without any effort on our part. We often think that God's silence is a sign of His displeasure, but this is not true.
