Biblical Answer

My friend, I can sense the pain and confusion in your words. You've been faithful, yet you're wondering why things haven't turned out as you expected. I've been there myself, and I've learned that sometimes our expectations aren't aligned with God's plan. As a pastor, I've seen many people struggle with this very issue. We pray for something, and we're convinced that God wants us to have it, but somehow, it doesn't work out. I believe this is where faithfulness comes in – not just being faithful to God, but also being faithful to His plan, even when it doesn't make sense to us.

I remember a time when I was praying for a specific outcome, and it didn't happen. But looking back, I realized that God had other plans, and they were better than what I had in mind. It's not about being faithful to our own desires, but about being faithful to God's sovereignty. We must learn to trust Him, even when we don't understand what's happening. As the Bible says, "We are always seen and in the presence of the Holy One" (Ps. 90:8). This means that our lives are never private, and God is always working, even when we can't see it.

So, my friend, I want to encourage you to examine your heart and ask yourself if you're relying on anything or anyone other than God. Are you trusting in your own strength or abilities? Are you relying on your own understanding of what's best for you? I know it's hard, but I want to assure you that God is faithful, and He will work everything out for your good, even when it doesn't seem like it. As the Bible says, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28).
