Biblical Answer

The Bible does not provide a clear answer to the question of why God allows medical debt to destroy families. However, it does provide some insight into Gods relationship with humanity and the nature of sin. According to Anselm, sin is a debt that humanity owes to God, but is unable to pay. God, in His mercy, has provided a way for this debt to be satisfied through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. This idea is supported by Romans 3:26, which states that God is just and the justifier of those who trust in Him.

The question of why God allows medical debt to destroy families is a complex one, and there is no easy answer. However, it is possible to say that God is not a cruel or heartless God who delights in the suffering of His children. Rather, He is a loving God who desires to use even the difficult experiences of life to draw us closer to Himself. As the Bible says, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28). This does not mean that God causes suffering, but rather that He is able to use even the difficult experiences of life to bring about good and to draw us closer to Himself.
