The Question of Meaning in Life

When everything is taken away, what is the meaning of life? This question can be answered from a biblical perspective, which emphasizes the importance of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ for salvation. According to the Bible, life has meaning because it is a gift from God, and our purpose is to glorify Him (1 Corinthians 10:31). When we accept Christ as our Savior, we become a part of God's eternal plan, and our lives take on a new meaning.

The Temporary Nature of Life

From a biblical perspective, life is temporary, and everything we possess, including our lives, is subject to passing away (1 Corinthians 7:31).
