Your Question:
What if I'm not able to take care of my physical health?
Answer:
As a pastor, I've seen many people struggle with physical health issues, and it's a concern that's close to my heart. If you're not able to take care of your physical health, it can be a real challenge. I've seen people who are unable to participate in activities they love, like playing sports or even just taking care of their daily responsibilities. As a husband and father, I worry about how this would affect my family. My wife Susan and I have been married for 19 years, and we've always made time for our kids, Joshua and Rebecca. But if I were unable to take care of my physical health, I'd worry about how it would impact our family's dynamics. Would I be able to keep up with Joshua's baseball games or Rebecca's school activities? Would I be able to provide for my family's needs? But as a Christian, I also believe that our physical bodies are temporary and that our true identity is in Christ. So, even if I'm unable to take care of my physical health, I believe that in heaven, I'll be free from the limitations and weaknesses of this life. I'll be able to do all the things I love, like playing chess and reading science fiction novels, without any physical constraints. And I'll be able to spend eternity with my family and loved ones, free from the struggles and challenges of this life.
