Can I really be expected to pay this much?

The Bible teaches us that God is a God of abundance, not scarcity. In John 10:10, Jesus says, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." This means that God wants us to have a full and abundant life, not one of scarcity and lack. However, this abundance is not just about material wealth, but also about spiritual wealth and the freedom to live a life that reflects God's values.

When it comes to paying for things, we often feel a sense of scarcity and lack. We feel like we can't afford it, or that it's too expensive. But the Bible teaches us to trust in God's provision and to live by faith, not by sight. In 2 Corinthians 9:8, Paul writes, "And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work." This means that God wants us to have everything we need to live a life that honors Him.

So, can we really be expected to pay this much? The answer is yes. When we trust in God's provision and live by faith, we can pay what we need to pay without feeling a sense of scarcity or lack. In fact, when we give generously and live a life that reflects God's values, we can experience true abundance and freedom. As the Bible says in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." This means that when we prioritize God's kingdom and His righteousness, He will provide for all our needs and give us the resources we need to live a life that honors Him. So, can we really be expected to pay this much? The answer is yes, but only when we trust in God's provision and live by faith.
