The Problem of Evil and Suffering

The question of why something bad or evil happens in the world is a complex and age-old problem that has puzzled philosophers, theologians, and ordinary people for centuries. The Bible teaches us that God is sovereign and that He is in control of all things, but it also acknowledges that evil and suffering exist in the world. This paradox raises several questions, including why God allows evil to occur, why He doesn't stop it, and why He seems to be distant from those who suffer.

The Human Condition and Sin

One reason why evil and suffering exist in the world is because of the human condition and the presence of sin.
