Biblical Answer

Jesus taught us that helping others in need is a fundamental aspect of following him. He emphasized the importance of loving and caring for others, particularly those who are in need. In Matthew 25:40, Jesus says, "The King will answer and say to them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even to them you did it.'" This verse highlights the connection between caring for others and caring for Jesus himself. Jesus also taught that giving to others is more blessed than receiving, as seen in Acts 20:35.

As Christians, we are called to follow Jesus' example and to be a source of hope and help to those around us.
