When you're too sick to work, what does the Bible teach about taking care of yourself and your responsibilities?

The Bible teaches that taking care of one's health is important, but it's not the only thing that matters. In fact, the Bible says that work should not harm the worker, whether physically, morally, psycho-logically or spiritually (Proverbs 22:29). This means that if you're too sick to work, it's okay to take care of yourself and prioritize your health. The Bible also teaches that we should work hard and enjoy our work, but not at the expense of our health (1 Thessalonians 2:8; 2 Thessalonians 3:8).
